With a length of 12 kilometers and a width of 1.8 kilometers, Lake Millstatt is the second-largest swimming lake in Carinthia. At 141 meters, it is the deepest and most water-rich lake in the region. The southern shore is natural and largely undeveloped. In summer, the water temperature reaches up to 26 degrees.
